We got this classic made in Mexico for a complete general purpose. Probably no guitarist needs to introduce her very much.
It's a classic Fender Stratocaster made in Mexico - but the age of the guitar can be attractive. It was manufactured in 1999 and has so far contained all the original components since production.
The owner decided, as this was his first guitar, and he built a relationship with her that we would completely renovate it.
You will learn what this specifically means in this article.
You can see a comparison of the condition before and after the service in the picture:
The service of this guitar consisted of the following phases:
1) Disassembly of the guitar:
We separated the fingerboard from the body and removed the original hardware.
2) Fingerboard fretting:
We replaced the original sleepers with special steel sleepers, while maintaining their original size. Sometimes it is used to speak of such sleepers as the so-called "eternal frets" - because they have more durability and endurance and do not have strokes from playing the guitar. The sound of the guitar is more brilliant as a result.
3) Replacement of new sensors, pickguard and new back cover:
Along with the request for guitar service, there was also a request to replace the pickup set. We used a set of active EMG DG 20 sensors by David Gilmour.
The set also included a new pickguard, which gave the guitar a more modern look. And to make the guitar look more complex and beautiful, we also made the back cover of the guitar according to this front picguard. It is therefore made of the same material and this was not part of the package.
We grounded the electric chamber with copper - which is also not a standard, but it is one of the best grounded electricians in the guitar.
4) Replacement of other components:
- on the fingerboard, the original zero fret was replaced with graphtech material
- graphtech material was also used for string trimmers
- The guitar strap is held by Schaller locking handles
- tuning guitar keys replaced by a higher range of lockable Schaller brands
- installation of a new Gotoh Vintage De Luxe tremolo with a special steel base block, which guarantees absolute sustainability transfer
